VIDEO: A moment in history, LeBron James reaches the 40,000 points!

Denver Nuggets visiting the LA Lakers at the Crypto.com Arena. In another wonderful start for the King, LeBron has reached the 40K points scored in 11:25 minutes played.

The whole arena stands up to recognize the historic moment in which LeBron achieved what was believed as one of the most impossible milestones in his legendary career. Playing with a real sense of urgency to try to add more wins to better position his team in the Western Conference Standings, James didn't waste a minute and came running at full cilinders right from the get go.

James receives the ball and reads the defense. The rest of the Lakers spread out to generate space for him and thus the king can operate. He plays one-on-one against Michael Porter and takes him deep into the paint, finishing with a spin move and left-handed layup. 39 years old and he still makes it look easy.

The Lakers will try to maintain the lead and get a hugely important win against one of the top championship contenders, and in this way honor their leader so that the celebration is complete.
