In a Tuesday full of NBA action, the Chicago Bulls faced the New York Knicks in the United Center. The Knicks ended up with an important win on the road as the Bulls didn't looked focused enough. During the game, Torrey Craig and Andre Drummond left perhaps one of the funniest plays of the season.
Chicago already knows its rival for their play-in matchup. The Bulls are set to face the Atlanta Hawks on April 17th. Chicago has a 37-42 record, currently sitting in the 9th position in the East. Atlanta is in the 10th spot with a 36-43 record, which means they have the chance to steal that 9th spot with three more games to be played. Having the better record defines where the match will be played.
The Knicks were also playing to stay up there in the top-4 of the Conference, key if they want to have the home-court advantage for the first round of the playoffs. Jalen Brunson was terrific as he dropped 45 points on the Bulls.
With the Knicks up by nine starting the second quarter, Drummond stole the ball from Bogdanovic and now three Bulls are running the fastbreak without any Knicks' player near. Craig tosses the ball to the glass and goes for the highlight dunk...but Drummond does it as well. The result? an incredible double-dunk fail and the most hilarious play in this 2023-24 campaign.
