When
Anthony Davis has his day, he is simply unstoppable. Last night he took advantage of the absence of
Minnesota Timberwolves' two starting power forwards to have a historic game in a
Los Angeles Lakers jersey.
No one in NBA history had ever managed to finish a game with at least 25 points, 25 rebounds and 5 steals and yesterday AD did it: 27 points, 25 rebounds and 7 steals. As if that wasn't enough, he added 5 assists to his performance to complete his impressive statistics.
Davis is not being very consistent this year, having gone through some physical problems, but if he manages to get in tune at the end of the season LeBron James and his Lakers can dream of trying to go far in the playoffs again. For the time being, it would be nice if they could try to improve their position in the West standings: they are ninth and should play two Play-In games to reach the postseason.
