The
New York Knicks point guard
Jalen Brunson has criticised
his performance in the match against the
Philadelphia 76ers.
The Knicks had a disappointing outing as they lost to the Sixers
with a score of 79-73 at the Madison Square Garden in New York on Sunday.
Brunson had a horrible night on a personal level where he
ended up missing 16 shots. While talking to the media after the match, he was
highly critical of his performance. ““I played like dogs**t. That’s it,” he
said.
The defeat, which was the Knicks fourth in the last six
matches, kept them on the fourth place in the Eastern Conference points table
with 37 wins and 27 defeats.
On the other hand, the Sixers, after registering their first
win following three consecutive defeats, are placed in the sixth position in
the Eastern Conference with 36 wins and 28 defeats.
On the night, for the winning team, the star of the show was
shooting guard Kelly Oubre Jr. who ended up registering 18 points to go with 10
rebounds and three assists. He was well-supported by Buddy Hield who registered
16 points to go with seven rebounds and three assists.
For the losing side, Brunson was the
standout performer as he ended up registering 19 points to go with three
rebounds and eight assists.
