Boston Celtics traveled to Florida for the scheduled match between the Celtics and Miami Heat. Miami came to this match without their best player, Jimmy Butler, due to a family situation. Kristaps Porzingis and Jayson Tatum took care of things on offense, putting the game out of Miami's reach. Very goog road win for the Celtics 110-106.
The Boston Celtics still are ranked 1st of all NBA, and today they proved to be more than the Heat can handle. In this particular new edition of last year's Eastern Conference Finals, Boston prevailed again, sweeping the regular season series 3-0.
Kristaps Porzingis was great for the Celtics, attacking efficiently from the field (and 2-4 from three-point range). Porzingis also was key for his team's rebounds, grabbing 9. Jayson Tatum was quietly the main character for Boston, collaborating with 24 points and 9 rebounds on almost 60% from the field. JT is on a mission this season with his squad and could very well snatch the MVP trophy from the other frontrunners, like Jokic or Gilgeous-Alexander.
Miami missed the fire power that Butler provides and made fewer threes. Tyler Herro finished with 22 points, same amount for Bam Adebayo's effort.
Boston still sits on top of the NBA, and will try to prevail next Tuesday, when they clash against the Brooklyin Nets.
Miami on the other hand, needs to bounce back from this loss and start climbing up the Eastern Conference standings. They'll try to get back on track next Tuesday, visiting the Milwaukee Bucks.
