The Milwaukee Bucks acquired Damian Lillard in what was The Blockbuster trade this off-season. And with Dame's resume it was a matter of time for him to deliver moments like this. In a thrilling overtime ending against the Sacramento Kings, Milwaukees guard wins the game with a deep three at the buzzer.

What a great game was last night between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Sacramento Kings. A match between two great teams, Milwaukee seeked to consolidate themselves to the second place in the East and take distance from the Philadelphia 76ers. With two wins in a row, Bucks wanted to erase any doubts left after that home lost against the Jazz that triggered some questions about not being consistant on effort.

The Sacramento Kings on the other hand, came to visit Giannis Antetokuonmpo and his team after suffering a defeat on the road against the Philadephia 76ers two nights prior. With a full squad, the Kings aimed to get a win and go to the valley with a W from this East journey.

The playoffs battle in the Western Conference is wild as we are reaching the half of the regular season. Between the 4th and 8th place, there are only four games and nobody wants to risk going to the Play-Inn for a potential deathmatch againts Lebron James and the Los Angeles Lakers, or the Golden State Warriors.

The showdown was even for the first half, with each team exchanging buckets and both offenses clicking full cilinders, going to the lockers Bucks ahead 68-66. In the second half, Milwaukee got to a 12-point lead early in the 4th quarter until King's head coach, Mike Brown, was ejected after walking onto court after a referee's call. This motivated the reaction of De'Aaron Fox, Domantas Sabonis and the rest of the team, who finally recovered and tied the game in the finals seconds of regulation.

Fueled with confidence, the Kings took a 6-point lead in overtime, Bucks cut it back to 4 and then Brook Lopez hits a cold corner three. 11 seconds remaining. Fox misses a crutial free throw, Kings lead 142-140 and the stage is set to another Damian Lillard classic highlight:

“Two guys ran to Giannis and as soon as I looked up Brook was already running toward me and I knew that was what the play was going to get to eventually,” Lillard said.

“I just changed direction and got into space where I could get a good look at the rim. It was a pretty comfortable shot."

Final score 143-142. Important win for the Bucks, huge team effort. Behind Lillard's 29 points. Giannis finished the game with a 27 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists triple-double, Malik Beasley scored 23 points and Bobby Portis added 22. Da'Aaron Fox led the Sacramento Kings with 32 points and Sabonis got his 10th triple-double of the season.

“These are the kinds of game that you don’t want to let them slip. It’s a quality win against a good team”, Lillard's words after the game.
