Atlanta Hawks and
Toronto Raptors took huge step for their immediate future, opting to keep their players. Both
Dejounte Murray and
Bruce Brown were involved in major rumors in this days before the
trade deadline.
In the case of the Hawks, they have decided to keep point guard Dejounte Murray, refusing to make any trade related to him.
On the other hand, the Raptors have opted to retain Bruce Brown, which gives them a wide range of options for next season. In particular, the presence of a $23 million team option on Brown's 2024-2025 contract provides financial and strategic flexibility for the Toronto team in the free agent market and potential trades.
It looks like everything will be decided in the summer, both for Murray with the Hawks and Brown with the Raptors.
