Dillon Brooks hits 6 threes as Houston Rockets defeat New York Knicks in the final seconds to give them their 3rd straight loss

After being on a dominant 9-game win streak, the Knicks have lost 4 of their last 5 games, including 3 in a row. Dillon Brooks led the way with 3 point shooting, as he helped the Houston Rockets beat the New York Knicks 105-103 in a nail-biter at Toyota Center.
The Knicks made big moves this season, acquiring OG Anunoby, Alec Burks, and Bojan Bogdanovic to help their depth, shooting, and scoring. With this revamped roster, New York is set to make a deep playoff push behind All-Stars Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle.
Tonight was not their night, however, as Dillon Brooks stole the show. He ended with 23 points including 6 made three pointers. Jabari Smith Jr. finished with 20 points while Alperen Sengun had 18 points. Jalen Green scored 16 points and Aaron Holiday recorded 18 points, including hitting 2 of the last 3 free throws to win the game.
On the Knicks side, Jalen Brunson led the way with 27 points and 7 assists. Donte DiVincenzo had 23 points on 5 made threes while Josh Hart recorded a double double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Bojan Bogdanovic had a good night too, scoring 15 points off the bench.
Houston improves to 24-29 making them the 12th seed and 3 games out of the play-in tournament. They are 4-6 over their last 10 games.
Meanwhile, New York drops to 33-21 on the season, making them 4th in the East. They are 0.5 games above the 76ers for the last team to host a home playoff series in round 1. The Knicks are now 6-4 over their last 10 games.
