It was clear who the best player on the court was tonight,
as
Donovan Mitchell caught fire and led the
Cleveland Cavaliers to a 114-106
victory over the
Washington Wizards at Capital One Arena.
Mitchell has been playing superb this season, especially when
the Cavs were depleted with injuries to Darius Garland and Evan Mobley. Coming
into tonight, Cleveland sits at the 2 seed thanks to Spida, as he’s averaging 28.2
points, 5.4 rebounds, and 6.4 assists this year. Selected for his 5th
straight All-Star appearance, the future is bright for the 27-year-old superstar.
In tonight’s game, he exploded for 40 points, 8 rebounds,
and 5 assists on 56% shooting. Evan Mobley finished with 22 points and 8
rebounds while

the Eastern Conference and 4.5 games behind the Boston Celtics. Cleveland is 15-1
over their last 16 games and currently on a 7-game winning streak. Their next
