Golden State Warriors' superstar, Stephen Curry, suffered an ankle injury in a game where the Chicago Bulls stunned the Dubs last Thursday. Luckily, the tests showed no major damage and today, 5 days later, Steph was cleared to start working out on-court.

It's a good day to be a Golden State Warriors fan, yesterday, they defeated San Antonio on the road, after losing their previous match against them; and today, the news that Stephen Curry is returning to training on-court with his teammates is what everyone was expecting to hear.

Golden State played two games without Steph, both in San Antonio against the Spurs, losing the first one, on Saturday (a game where Victor Wembanyama wasn't available to play as well), and winning yesterday. It's no secret that offensively, Steph generates a lot of opportunities for the rest of the team.

His ability to play without the ball, running through screens and setting up teammates is phenomenal. If you combine these skills to his non-human talent to shoot the ball from anywhere, you have a player that's an offensive system on his own.

Despite turning 36 next Thursday, Steph's style of play allows him to do everything he used to do when he was younger, not losing almost any step.

This season the Chef is averaging 26.9 points. 4.4 rebounds and 4.9 assists, shooting 44% from the field, and nearly 41% from three. Comparing these stats to his younger self, Steph might have decreased just 4% from his best three-point efficiency, back in 2016 when he won his back-to-back MVP trophy.

Curry will be resuming the on-court workouts in San Francisco, while his team is getting ready for tomorrow's showdown against Luka Doncic's Mavericks. The 4-time NBA Champion could be re-joining the rest of the squad for practice on Friday, in LA. It's not clear if he will be available to play against the Lakers, in a crucial battle next Saturday.
