Phoenix Suns coach Frank Vogel has heaped praise on Devin
Booker for having a ‘killer instinct’ after his heroics in the match against
the
New Orleans Pelicans on Friday.
The Suns dominated the match from the first quarter where they
ended up taking 13 points lead. The 27-year-old was just too hot to handle on
the night as he registered a whopping 52 points for the winning team as the Suns secured
a thumping win with a score of 123-109.
Talking after the match, Suns coach Vogel was full of praise
for Booker, who according to him was ‘spectacular’ on the night.
"The guy's just got an incredible killer
instinct," Suns coach Frank Vogel said. "He had that look in his eyes
tonight. "It was a great team win, but Book was spectacular. He was able
to torch these guys, but when the double-teams came, he shared it."
Booker, while talking to the media after the match, revealed
what motivated him to produce arguably his best performance this season.
"I got 50 folks out there and I'm about to go see
them," he said. "That's where my main motivation comes, from all my
family that's here. They drive over every time I play here and I like to put on
a show for them."
