In a game where Kawhi Leonard and Paul George weren't available to play, the Milwaukee Bucks, led by Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard found a great opportunity to overcome the heartbreaking loss suffered against the Lakers last Friday. Lillard went berserk scoring 35 points and Giannis collaborated with 34 points in the Sunday clash celebrated at the Crypto.com Arena. Great road win for Milwaukee 124-117.
Milwaukee Bucks recovered from a bitter loss against the Lakers by only one point. Giannis and his squad surprisingly lost the first quarter against a diminished Clippers team who where playing without their main guys, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. But in the second quarter, the Bucks awakened and from that point on, they controled the entire game.
Damian Lillard is having a phenomenal performance since March started, and tonight he was sensational: 35 points, 11 assists and 7 rebounds. 'Dame Time' appeared in the fourth, hitting dagger after dagger to demoralize LA and prevent any intention for them to attempt a comeback.
Giannis Antetokounmpo added 34 points, 10 assists and 7 rebounds. Another brilliant display for the former MVP, who now takes advantage of Dame's gravity and has a lot more room to operate on offense.
Malik Beasley and Bobby Portis helped with 17 and 11 points respectively.
Los Angeles Clippers found in Norman Powell their best offensive weapon for tonight. The former champion with the Toronto Raptors scored 26 points. Zubac collaborated with 18 points. James Harden recorded 13 points and 11 assists, in a valuable effort that just wasn't enough to prevail against the Eastern Conference 2nd seeded.
The Clippers will remain in LA to face the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday. Milwaukee on the other hand, will continue this Western Conference road trip up to their next stop in Sacramento, where they'll clash with the Kings also on Tuesday night.
