Taking a punch from a Jokic brother should qualify you for a Purple Heart
In last night's thriller, Nikola Jokic's Denver Nuggets overcame a 20-point deficit to defeat the Los Angeles Lakers at the buzzer and take a 2-0 lead in the series, however, not everything were great news for the Joker, because the NBA is now investigating one of his brothers for punching a fan on the face in the Ball Arena.
Nikola Jokic and his brothers are really really close. as you can see them alongside the Joker almost everytime. Surely that has been the case for the two first game of the playoffs this year. Strahinja and Nemanja Jokic have both been always watching/protecting his little brother since his younger days, but especially in the postseason, the two brothers are often at the stands.
After an apparent altercation between Strahinja and some fans at the end of the game, it's has been viralized a video footage of Joker's brother. According to a report of TMZ, after Murray made that incredible clutch shot, Strahinja can be seen climbing over a row of chairs before punching a fan in the face.
It hasn't been clarified what sparked this incident but it could potentially mean that if Strahinja is found guilty his attendance to the Nuggets games could be in jeopardy. It's uncertain at this point if the police had to interfear or who's the punched fan.
Unfortunately for Nikola, this hasn't been the only time that one of his brothers gets in trouble. Strahinja was reportedly arrested after shoving and choking a woman, and taking her cell phone when she was trying to leave his apartment, back in 2019. He plead guilty and after staying out of more of these kind of incidents for a long period of time, the misdemeanors were dropped.
We'll see what the NBA has to say regarding this last situation that Jokic's brother been part of. If the NBA finds enough proves, Strahinja could be forced to stay out of any league games.
