Pascal Siakam on his emotional return to Toronto: "I came here with a dream. Toronto will always be my home"

It was all about love in Toronto on this Valentine's Day, as the Raptors fans and organization showed their respect and care for All-Star Pascal Siakam, who made his return to Canada. This was his first game as an opponent and it was a very emotional atmosphere in the arena.
Spicy P spent his first 7 seasons with the Toronto Raptors. Drafted 27th overall at the age of 22, Siakam grew on and off the court in Canada. He built relationships with teammates, fans, and the organization, and he said he will never forget those memories.
The home team played a beautiful tribute video for the 2-time All-Star that was very emotional to anyone watching. It showed how amazing of a person and player the 29-year-old is and the impact he left to his community.
In his first return to Toronto, Siakam put on a show, scoring 23 points to go with his 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Most importantly, he led the Indiana Pacers to a victory that came down to the final seconds.
When asked about his time with the team up North and his emotions during this return, he thanked the city and organization for welcoming him with open arms. He mentioned that he was a young man from Cameroon who just came with a dream. Everybody he ran into impacted his life and he loves everything about the city, stating that Toronto will always be his home.
Siakam was most proud of his teams' victory though. He praised Ben Sheppard for his outstanding play, noting that he sees the hard work that he puts in everyday and is proud that he could display his talents tonight. He also said that it was a great team victory and despite a sluggish start, they finished strong to pull out a win heading into All-Star break.
