On a busy NBA Wednesday, with up to 12 games, Memphis Grizzlies and Los Angeles Lakers will face each other after the Los Angeles Grizzlies beat Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday after two overtimes. Anthony Davis and Jaren Jackson Jr. will be the stars of the game.
The Lakers will play as visitors in a matchup that, in principle, they should come in short of strength. Being their second night of back-to-back and after the marathon effort to defeat the Bucks after two overtimes, the Angelina franchise is obliged to face this new challenge. Right now, they are 9th with a 40-32 record, and getting dangerously close to Phoenix Suns (8th with a 42-30 record, just like the 7th ranked Sacramento Kings).
The Grizzlies, meanwhile, will have no greater motivation than to beat a team that is on a roll, as the Lakers have won their last four games. Memphis, facing an injury-riddled season, is 13th with a 24-48 record and has won just three of its last 10 games.
Expert predictions (Possible lineups and result).
The main predictions for tonight's game place the Los Angeles Lakers as the favorite to win, despite it being their second back-to-back night, as the Memphis Grizzlies are still carrying a lot of losses.
In addition, the potential lineups will be as follows:
  • Grizzlies: Scotty Pippen Jr, Desmond Bane, GG Jackson, Santi Aldama, Jaren Jackson Jr.
  • Lakers: D'Angelo Russell, Austin Reaves, Taurean Prince, Rui Hachimura, Anthony Davis.
Schedule and TV.
The game will be played at 08:00 PM ET, and can be followed on BSSE and SportsNet LA.
