In the last of the six games to be played on Monday in the NBA, New Orleans Pelicans and Phoenix Suns will face each other. These are two teams that aspire to compete for the ring in the playoffs, and preferably by qualifying directly. The stars of the game will be Zion Williamson and Kevin Durant.
The Suns will be playing the visitors in a very important game. The franchise has lost its last game and is 8th in the Western Conference with a 43-31 record. Ahead they have the Sacramento Kings, tied with the same record, and behind them the Los Angeles Lakers who have won seven of their last 10 games and are 9th with a 42-33 record, very close.
The Pelicans, meanwhile, are the team that marks the direct playoff qualifying zone in the West. The Louisiana team is 6th with a 45-29 record, and has seen Dallas Mavericks overtake them in the standings by winning their last seven consecutive games, although with the same record right now.
Expert predictions (Possible lineups and result).
The main oddsmakers for tonight's game have the Phoenix Suns very slightly ahead of the New Orleans Pelicans for the win, simply because of the fact that Brandon Ingram will not be available for the game. However, the win could go either way as it is expected to be a very close game.
In addition, the potential lineups will be as follows:
  • Pelicans: CJ McCollum, Herbert Jones, Trey Murphy III, Zion Williamson, Jonas Valanciunas.
  • Suns: Bradley Beal, Devin Booker, Grayson Allen, Kevin Durant, Jusuf Nurkic.
Schedule and TV.
The game will be played at 8:00 PM ET, and will be broadcast on BSNO and AZFamily.
Injury report.
  • Pelicans: Brandon Ingram (knee) and Jose Alvarado (hip), ruled out.
  • Suns: Damion Lee (knee), ruled out.
