Golder State Warriors’ stars Steph Curry and
Draymond Green
reportedly discussed in the locker room about the team’s defensive unit
following their surprising defeat against the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Warriors were going to neck-to-neck against the Grizzlies
till the third quarter but the game turned in the visiting side’s favour in the
fourth quarter where they ended up registering 10 points more than the home
team.
As per the Athletic's reporter Anthony Slater, after the
match, two stars Curry and Green had a locker room conversation about how bad
the team’s defensive unit was after the match.
"And then in the locker room postgame, [Draymond Green]
and Steph [Curry] were over there like, relatively loudly discussing how bad
they've been defensively,” he said. “Going through the numbers and talking
about how bad they were when they were out and like they're bottom-five, and
discussing, 'Oh wait, which teams are we better than? Like the Pistons, who
else?' And this is something that the locker room can hear them
discussing."
Curry had a fabulous time on the court during the match as he
ended up registering the most points (26) by any player in the match. On the other
hand, Green ended up registering seven points but also won seven defensive
dribbles.
