Charlotte Hornets 115-97 at Spectrum Center behind a heroic effort by
Stephen Curry.
The 2-time MVP finished with a team-high 23 points for the Warriors including 4 made three-pointers.
Andrew Wiggins recorded 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists while Trayce Jackson-Davis had 18 points, 8 boards, 2 steals, and 3 blocks. Golden State improves to 39-34 with this win and continue to keep their postseason hopes alive. The Houston Rockets are on fire right now and coming after them in the standings, but the Warriors remain poised and are taking care of business for now.
They want to compete in the playoffs because they believe a deep run can still be made, so winning these games to remain in the fight is critical. The Dubs are currently on a 3-game winning streak and will face off against the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday.
Charlotte drops to 18-55 with this loss. They have nothing left to play for in the regular season other than developing their young players. It was announced recently that star LaMelo Ball is out for the remainder of the season, so they will prepare to get him back at the start of next season. The Hornets are 3-7 over their last 10 games and will play against the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday.
