Created by Alberto De Roa, it combines player and team statistics to rank players based on their productivity on the court. The number of games a player has missed in a season or competition is also taken into account.
For the 2023-24 season, HoopsHype has compiled a list of the top players according to Global Rating:

- Giannis Antetokounmpo - Just behind Gilgeous-Alexander, Antetokounmpo has maintained a Global Rating of 31.00, with impressive averages of 30.8 points, 11.2 rebounds and 6.4 assists per game.
- Nikola Jokic - The Serbian player has proven his worth with a Global Rating of 30.75, contributing 26.0 points, 12.2 rebounds and 9.1 assists per game.
