The Memphis Grizzlies were without majority of their rotation players in this game, so they needed to rely on some of their backups to step up and that’s exactly what Trey Jemison did, as he led his team to a 109-97 victory over the Washington Wizards at FedExForum.
The Grizzlies have dealt with key injuries all season long and this has become a throw away year for them. They will likely add a lottery pick to their young core and look to build themselves a dynasty anchored by Ja Morant, Desmond Bane, and Jaren Jackson Jr.
In this contest, Trey Jemison took advantage of his extra playing time. He scored a team high 24 points on 11/13 shooting. GG Jackson had 19 points off the bench while Jake LaRavia contributed 16 points. Luke Kennard recorded 13 points and 8 assists while Santi Aldama provided 11 points.
