These 2 teams faced off on Sunday in the lowest scoring game since 2016, where Philadelphia came out on top 79-73. In this game, the New York Knicks got their revenge, as they defeated the 76ers 106-79 at Madison Square Garden behind Josh Hart’s huge triple-double. OG Anunoby come back.

OG Anunoby returned for the Knicks after an 18-game absence to an elbow injury, and when he’s in the lineup New York looks like a totally different team. They are 13-2 with him in the lineup and 8-10 without him, showing how valuable he is on the court.

Josh Hart was the hero in this game though, as he finished with 20 points, 19 rebounds, and 10 assists. Jalen Brunson scored 20 points with 9 assists and 4 made threes. Donte DiVincenzo also drained 4 triples and ended with a total of 16 points. In his return, OG Anunoby recorded 14 points while Precious Achiuwa and Miles McBride each contributed 13 points off the bench.

Kelly Oubre Jr. led his team in scoring with 19 points with 3 made triples. Tyrese Maxey had 17 points while Paul Reed finished with 14 points and 8 boards off the bench. Tobias Harris struggled in this game, scoring just 2 points on 1/6 shooting.

This is the 3rd game in a row that the 76ers failed to score 100 points and 2nd straight game that they finished with just 79 points. It’s been a struggle for this offense without Joel Embiid and they are looking for answers before the playoffs start next month.
