The
Houston Rockets were playing against the
Chicago Bulls in one of the most competitive matchups scheduled tonight. With the Bulls trying to hold that 9th spot in the East and the Rockets fighting to get closer to that 10th spot holded by the Warriors. With the stage set for an intense duel, things got chippy between
DeMar DeRozan and
Dillon Brooks.
The Bulls traveled all the way to Texas for a matchup against a Rockets. Houston has been in great form lately, despite losing their talented turkish young star, Alperen Sengun. They are finishing the season the way they started it, hoping to make a last playoff run.
While the Bulls are in a rather comfortable situation being four wins away from the 10th spot and from the 8th spot, they went to Houston to get a win that moves them closer to the upper seeds.
With Houston winning by 9, DeRozan commited a hard unnecesary foul over
Jalen Green. Brooks, known for his fisty attitude, went out of his way and apparently told something to DeMar that he didn't wanted to hear and that was it. Both players started grabbing each other and in just a moment the court was filled with assistants and other team members trying to separate them. The result? both players out for the rest of the game.
