Victor Wembanyama was the man of the match for the
San Antonio Spurs' surprising victory againts the
Oklahoma City Thunder. A performance for the books for Wemby, a statement win and this is why he's the favorite to take the
Rookie Of The Year award over
Chet Holmgren.
A great battle between this two teams of the Western Conference. San Antonio came back from a long road-trip and Wembanyama was surely excited about being back home.
Victor had a relatively quiet first half, but for the second, he was a monster. Especially in the fourth. Wemby became the first player in NBA history to register 25+points, 10+ rebounds, 5+ assists, 5 blocked shots and 5 three-pointers made. INSANE.
Here we're bringing a great sequence from him, hitting a late fourth three-pointer and then, back to defense where he and Chet Holmgren go 1-on-1 and San Antonio's gem blocks his attempt and gets the ball. ROY
