The
Golden State Warriors star
Stephen Curry has trolled the
Houston Rockets forward
Tari Eason in their meeting. Both teams are involved in an intense battle to secure the
final spot in the top 10 in the Western Conference table.
About a week back, Eason, in a post on his social media platform
Instagram account, taunted Warriors with a chant: "Warriors, come out to
play."
Curry clearly remembered the taunt as he put three empty bottles
on the court, in reference to the movie The Warriors, after producing an
impressive performance against the Rockets on Thursday
After the match, the 36-year-old was asked whether the move was
intentional, to which he responded: “Yeah absolutely. Having some fun with it.”
The Warriors proved too hot to handle for the Rockets on the
night as they registered a thumping win with a score of 133-110 at the Toyota
Center in Houston.
The result pretty much sealed the Warriors' spot in the top 10 as they are now in the 10th spot with 42 wins and 34 defeats whereas the Rockets remain in the 11th spot with 38 wins and 38 defeats.
With just six matches remaining in the normal season, for
the Rockets to qualify, they must win their all remaining matches whereas the
Warriors will have to lose all the remaining encounters to lose their 10th
spot.
Curry ended up registering 29 points for the winning side
with the help of six rebounds and six assists.
