The
Golden State Warriors fans celebrated their team’s recent
win over the
Toronto Raptors. The Warriors defeated the home side with a score
of 120-105 at the Scotiabank Arena on Friday in Toronto.
The victory was an important one for the Warriors which was
their sixth in the last seven matches. That result kept them in the ninth position
in the league table with just 32 wins and 27 defeats this season.
After the win, the Warriors fans on the social media platform
X — previously known as Twitter — celebrated the result, especially when it was
enough to leapfrog them over the Los Angeles Lakers. One fan even went on to say
that the Warriors are ‘backkk’.
The star of the show on the night was none other than legendary
Stephen Curry who ended up registering 25 points to go with six rebounds, one assist
and three steals. He was well-supported by the young power forward Jonathan
Kuminga who ended up contributing 24 points to go with six rebounds and two
assists.
For the losing team,
shooting guard Rj Barrett was the standout performer on the night as he ended
up contributing 23 points to go with two rebounds and four assists.
