The
Golden State Warriors veteran guard
Stephen Curry has
jokingly given a solution to the team’s dismal home record this season.
The Warriors registered an important win against the Charlotte
Hornets with a score of 115-97 at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte on Friday.
Despite that win, the Warriors remain in the 10th
position in the Western Conference with 39 wins and 34 defeats.
One of the primary reasons for the position on the table is
their home form this season where they have won 18 and suffered 19 defeats. That
record is only better than the likes of San Antonio Spurs (10-27), Portland
Trail Blazers (11-27) and Memphis Grizzlies (8-28) in the Western Conference.
Curry was recently quoted in a report where he jokingly
highlighted how the Warriors can improve their home record.
"We might need to stay in a hotel in San Francisco and
act like it's a road game," said Curry. "Like they do in football and
stay in a hotel the night before. I don't know what it is about the road
Warriors. We've kept our season alive with our road performance.
"It means a lot, and with what it's looking like, we're
going to have to do that to get into the playoffs. [It's] something to rely
on."
