Golden State Warriors have been proposed an idea of trading Chicago
Bulls star
DeMar DeRozan. The Warriors were heavily linked with a move for Pascal
Siakam. However, the player ended up joining the Indiana Pacers.
As per the Bleacher Report article, the Warriors have proposed
the idea of signing DeRozan before the end of the transfer window on February 03.
The news might prove to be an interesting one considering that the Bulls are
struggling in the Central standings where they are placed in the fourth spot
with 20 wins and 23 defeats.
It is not clear whether there is any move underway to secure
the signing of the 34-year-old, especially considering his age as he is moving towards
the wrong side of his 30s.
Despite getting older, DeRozan is having a more than impressive
time on the court where he is averaging 22 points and four rebounds per game. It
is the 11th consecutive season where he is averaging more than 20
points per game.
In the team’s most recent clash against the Toronto Raptors,
he ended up registering 24 points including seven rebounds and six assists.
His most impressive outing this season came against the
Warriors earlier in January where he ended up registering a whopping 39 points including
seven rebounds and five assists.
