Sports reporter Dennis Scott has revealed that Atlanta Hawks’
Dejounte Murray will be keen to go back to San Antonio Spurs.
There has been rumours regarding the future of the
27-year-old and he has been linked with Spurs who are keen to bolster their contingent
for the future encounters.
Report Scott was recently quoted in a report where he
suggested that Murray is keen to reunite with his former coach at Spurs.
"Pop (Spurs coach Gregg Popovich) is like a father to
me, I would welcome that. But right now, I'm a Hawk, I'm going to stay
professional and play the right way,” he said.
Scott further went on to share how Murray reacts when he has
been linked with other franchises in the league by stating: "It's part of
the business, I'm going to stay professional and be a good teammate.”
Murray has been going through a good season where he is averaging
20.8 points per game. It is the third consecutive season where the Washington-born is averaging more than 20 points per game.
For the first time in his career, Murray is averaging more
than two three-pointers per game. His total rebounds tally is 4.8 per game. In the
most recent game against Spurs, he registered 13 points.
