Ben Simmons has been unavailable to his coaches for several years due to different physical problems. It is clear that at this point the Brooklyn Nets player is far from being the All-Star that dazzled in Philadelphia 76ers five years ago, but he still hopes to regain his best level.
"Finding myself better, there are things going up and down every day, but finding myself better. The storm is not going to last forever, I'm going to get back to where I was," he commented in recent statements uploaded to 'X' by Michael Scotto.
After being an All-Star in 2021, Simmons sat out the 21/22 season, played 42 games averaging 7 points last year and this season has barely been able to complete 11 games. He hasn't played since Nov. 6 against Milwaukee. We've been announcing for weeks that he's coming back. He doesn't. It's hard to believe in his return.
