Breaking: Damian Lillard will play in Game 6 vs. Indiana, per @wojespn. Giannis remains out.
The Milwaukee Bucks' season is still alive, but just barely. After beating the Indiana Pacers in Game 5 of the opening round of the playoffs, the Bucks cannot lose any more games. But they have been without both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard recently, making the task of taking down the Pacers even harder.
But the Bucks received good news on Thursday, as it was announced that Lillard will be back with his team for Game 6.
Although Milwaukee will get Lillard back, they will still be without Giannis. he has not played in the playoffs at all due to a left calf strain that he suffered on April 9 in one of the team's final regular season games. Most inside reporting says that he could return about two to four weeks after his injury. So far, he has been out for three weeks.
As for Lillard, he re-aggravated an Achilles injury during Game 3 of the series against the Pacers and his return was in question since then. Now that he's back, he will add a huge boost to the team's offense, which is very important against the sharpshooting Pacers.
Even without Lillard and Antetokounmpo, the Bucks showed tremendous spirit during their most recent game against the Bucks. But now that their star shooter is back, their chances of a Game 6 victory have grown.
