Damian Lillard wins 2024 All-Star game MVP: Eastern Conference makes history as they score over 200 points!

The 2024 All-Star game went back to its original format, with a standard East vs. West matchup led by captains Giannis Antetokounmpo and LeBron James. Damian Lillard stole the show and won the Kobe Bryant MVP Award with his jaw-dropping performance, as he led the Eastern Conference to a 211-186 victory over the Western Conference, making history as the first All-Star team to ever score over 200 points.
Dame Time had himself a remarkable All-Star weekend, winning the 3-point shooting contest last night and following that up with the MVP tonight. In this game, he had 39 points while hitting 11 three pointers. The Bucks point guard made some ridiculously deep shots, hence the nickname "Logo Lillard".
Hometown hero Tyrese Haliburton also had a phenomenal night, scoring 32 points with 10 made threes. The Pacers guard hit the shot to make history, as he hit a deep 3 to give the Eastern Conference its 200th point of the game. Jaylen Brown scored 36 points of the bench on 65% shooting. Both Hali and JB played amazing and commentator Reggie Miller suggested giving all 3 of these players the MVP award, making it a trio All-Star game MVP.
Captain Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 23 points on 69% shooting and Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum had 20 points on 8/13 shooting.
For the Western Conference, Karl-Anthony Towns led the way with 50 points off the bench. After competing in the 3-point shooting contest Finals last night, KAT showed his versatility with his insane dunk package. The Timberwolves big man and throwing down powerful dunks with some flare, whether it was a reverse slam, a cradle dunk, or a classic windmill throwdown.
Captain LeBron James only played 14 minutes and scored 8 points, while fellow frontcourt mates Kevin Durant and Nikola Jokic scored 18 and 13 points, respectively. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the OKC Thunder scored 31 points with 7 made threes and Luka Doncic had 7 points.
Stephen Curry came off the bench in this All-Star game and scored 16 points while Devin Booker finished with 15 points.
