During the NBA All-Star Game, questions to star players revolved not only around the present, but also the future. Ben Rohrbach posed an intriguing question to Stephen Curry, focusing on the end of his career, a topic that had recently been broached with LeBron James (who said, unsurprisingly at age 39, that the end was near).
The question Rohrbach presented to Curry was direct and thoughtful: What would be his roadmap toward the end of his career? The astute Golden State Warriors point guard's response offered a candid and thoughtful take on the subject.
"Eventually, your body will tell you when it's time," Curry began, acknowledging the importance of listening to the signals the body sends over time. However, he added confidently, "But I don't think I'm even close to that."
It should be noted that Curry is 4 years younger than LeBron James. Both were born in Akron, Ohio. LeBron in 1984 and Steph in 1988. The Golden State Warriors point guard is averaging 28 points and 5 assists per game this season and is looking for the fifth NBA ring in his career to match Magic Johnson.
