A rare incident took place within the Phoenix Arena moments ago, when
Detroit Pistons' center
Isaiah Stewart sucker punched
Phoenix Suns' player
Drew Eubanks. This whole situation happened before the game even started.
As NBA's insider Shams Charania informed, Eubanks and Stewart were going chest-to-chest and at some point Stewart landed a punch on Drew Eubanks face. After this, the police had to intervene and both players were separated.
The reasons that started the whole conflict remain unclear, but the Pistons' player left the Arena followed by members of Detroit's staff.
This isn't the first time that Isaiah Stewart get's involved in heated altercations with a member of the opposing team, as he's remembered to be the main protagonist in a similar situation with LeBron James a few years ago. In addition, he also had some altercations with Draymond Green as well.
Clearly the Pistons management needs to assist their young center in order to help him and prevent future outburst that hurt not only the player's reputation but the franchise's too.
