Oklahoma City Thunder is having a season that surprised everyone, but yet the team have managed to stay consistent despite being one of the NBA's youngests teams. They are currently ranked 2nd in the almighty Western Conference and much of that is because Chet Holmgren's presence on the squad. Holmgren had to miss the entire 2022-23 NBA season due to a foot injury, but this season with OKC he's been amazing. Chet holds the best BPM (box plus minus) among all the rookies, proof of his impact on the Thunder squad.
Brandon Miller and Brandin Podziemski have climbed up a few positions. Miller has been scoring with proficieny for the Charlotte Hornets, averaging 23.1 points and 42.6% from long distance.
Podziemski leads his team in BPM and he's only behind Holmgren among all the rookies. When he plays 30+ minutes the Warriors have a 9-6 record, and 17-19 when he plays less time.
