The
Golden State Warriors star guard
Stephen Curry has
turned 36 on Thursday. The veteran forward has been regarded as one of the
greatest players in the history of the NBA. He is regarded as the best three-pointer in the history of the competition.
Curry won the champions four times — in 2015, 17, 2018, 2022
— and all those titles came while playing with the Warriors. He was also named
NBA Finals Most Valuable Player in 2022. In 2015 and 2016, Curry was named the
NBA MVP of the season.
Interestingly, the Ohio-born has never played for another
franchise in his career. He joined the Warriors at the age of 21 and has been
playing with them for 14 seasons.
During that time, Curry, who plays as a point guard, has
already registered more than 23,000 points to go with 4,436 rebounds, 6,031
assists and 1,465 steals.
His best season for the franchise in terms of point
generation was in 2020-21 where he ended up registering 2,015 points to go with
345 rebounds and 363 assists.
This season, Curry has been once again instrumental for the
Warriors where he is registering 26.9 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.9 assists per
game. His best outing this season came in the match against the Atalanta Hawks
where he registered 60 points to go with six rebounds and four assists.
