USC's season came to an end earlier this week after a tough defeat at the hands of Arizona. When Arizona gave them a 70-49 drubbing, it eliminated the Trojans from the upcoming NCAA tournament.
There are many questions about the team after their loss including this one: was it the last time Bronny James will play for the university?
James has only been with the team since the start of the year and wasn't able to participate as much as he wanted as he recovered from a cardiac arrest event in the summer. And during his games, he has shown that he has a lot of room for development and needs to grow more.
Still, he might be done with USC.
James is an NBA draft prospect, despite the fact that he's not at the level that some insiders had hoped for. He ended the season averaging 4.9 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 2.2 assists while going just 27.3% from beyond the three-point line.
His offensive game needs a lot of work but his defensive skills have improved and have shown a ton of potential. He is certainly improving, but is he improving enough?
Bronny could be selected by any number of teams in the NBA, partly because of that potential and also because of his last name. The Los Angeles Lakers also might jump at the chance to sign him in the draft in order to keep his dad happy.
But will Bronny even be in the draft? There is a lot of speculation about him possibly sitting out of the draft and sticking around in college for another year. That would help him enhance his skills but should he jump into the NBA world now or wait?
