Chicago Bulls point guard
Coby White has heaped praise on
his teammates as they managed to secure a much-needed win against the Sacramento
Kings.
The Bulls came into this match after suffering three defeats
in the last five matches and were facing a side that won four out of the last six encounters.
However, White starred for the Bulls and registered his
career-best 37 points and led them to a win over the Kings with a score of
113-109 at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, CA.
Talking after the match, White refused to take all the
credit for the win and instead stated that it was the whole team’s effort which
ended up resulting in a big win.
“I was cool, it was cool,” he said. “I think it was a team
effort. Ayo played really well you know really big. AC I think had like I don’t
know four or five steals so he played really big. Julian came in and gave us
some big minutes, had a big-time charge, got to the free-throw line and had a
big-time cut.
“Everybody contributed to the win. Vooch with the tip late
that got AC the defensive rebound. Drum, the way he was screaming on the night
was unbelievable, getting all the guards downhill. JC, everybody contributed to
this win.
“You know what I am saying. So I don’t really look at it ‘Oh
me and Deebo was doing this and that’. I look at it as we have got a good solid
team win and I am proud of our team.”
