The
Los Angeles Lakers legendary forward
LeBron James is
already in the history books of the NBA. The 39-year-old recently became the
first player in the history of the competition to register 40,000 points.
The numbers are just beyond impressive and that even shows
from the fact that despite getting closer to turning 40, James is far from
over.
The consistency of the Ohio-born remains unreal as he
completed the journey from 30,000 points to 40,000 in 368 matches, the same amount
of matches he took to go from 0 to 10,000 points.
James’ slowest 10,000 points were between 20,000 to 30,000
point-range as he took 381 matches to reach the milestone.
Despite playing in his 21st season at the highest
level, James has shown no signs of slowing down as he is contributing 25.3
points per game for the Lakers in this campaign which is the best by a player
from the Lakers.
In the most recent outing, LeBron ended up registering 19
points to go with 11 rebounds and eight assists. His best outing in this
campaign came in the match against the Oklahoma City Thunder where he
registered 40 points to go with seven rebounds and seven assists.
