The
Golden State Warriors veteran forward
Draymond Green hits
back at the
Houston Rockets forward
Tari Eason for his recent taunt towards his
team.
Both the Warriors and the Rockets are involved in an intense
battle to finish in the 10th spot in the Western Conference.
Eason, in a live telecast on his social media platform Instagram
account, taunted Warriors with ‘Come out to play’. "Warriors! Come out to
play!" he chanted. "Warriors! Come out to play! Yeah! It's like
that!"
Green, in his regular podcast, hit back at Eason and stated
that kind of chanting does not work in you favour especially when the player
himself has not played since January.
"I'm a little surprised that he hasn't played in a game
since January 1st,” he said. “So it's kind of tough to come out
yelling, 'Come out and play,' and you're not gonna play.”
As things stand, the Warriors keep their spot in the 10th
place in the Western Conference table with 38 wins and 34 defeats.
On the other hand, the Rockets, who are on a bit of a roll
after winning 10 back-to-back matches, are sitting a place below them in the 11th
spot with 37 wins and 35 defeats.
