Phoenix Suns veteran forward
Kevin Durant has ignored the fans
boos he received during the match against the
Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Suns suffered a thumping defeat in their recent fixture
against the Thunder with a score of 128-103 at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma
City on Saturday. During the match, Durant was booed by the home team fans multiple
times.
After the match, the veteran forward, in a post on social
media platform X, wrote that he feels ‘home’ everywhere he goes. "I’m at
home everywhere I go," he wrote.
Durant was the standout performer for the losing side on the
night as he registered 26 points to go with six rebounds and one assist.
The 35-year-old is having another fabulous season for the Suns
where he is contributing 27.6 points per game, fifth-best in the competition.
To go with that, he is also contributing 6.7 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game.
His best outing in the ongoing campaign came in the match against
the Boston Celtics where he ended up registering 45 points to go with 10
rebounds and six assists.
The result on Saturday was the second defeat in the last
three matches for the Suns which kept the side in the seventh position with 43
wins and 31 defeats.
