Jaime Jaquez Jr. has seen a lot during his rookie year with the
Miami Heat, including a number of big wins and tips from his fellow players.
He has also seen a few things when it comes to the quirks and personality of his peers. Speaking on The Old Man & The Three, Jaquez talked about a very funny moment with
Jimmy Butler.
"One of the things that threw me off guard is like, I think it was maybe the second or third game," Jaquez said.
He continued, "We're getting ready and he's like playing Ed Sheeran to get himself ... get him hyped. I just though that was hilarious. ... He's playing like this sad Ed Sheeran song in the locker room, just blasting, and it just really threw me off guard."
Throughout the years, Butler has been known for his outlandish personality, fashion choices, and on-court antics. Therefore, it's not very surprising to hear that he was having a blast listening to Ed Sheeran before a game.
Most NBA stars usually choose to listen to hip-hop, dance music, or rock to get themselves hyped up for a game. But leave it to Butler to listen to Ed Sheeran instead.
