As advanced by ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid underwent a procedure on his left meniscus today, Tuesday, and will be re-evaluated in approximately four weeks.
So, in about a month we will see if the current MVP of the competition will be able to play again this season or if he will take it easy and return for next season. It should be remembered that a few months ago he decided that he was going to play with the United States in the Paris Olympics, for which he is also a question mark.
According to Woj, a return this season with the Sixers is not out of the question: "How Embiid's recovery goes over the next few weeks will be paramount, but it is still believed that the door is not closed on the possibility of the reigning MVP returning this season, sources tell ESPN.
