The
Philadelphia 76ers are anxious to get their best player back to action. Although
Joel Embiid's return to the court is still unknown, there are encouraging signs for the Sixers fans that the 2022-23 NBA MVP could be playing again before the regular season ends. According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Joel could be returning by the end of March.
Wojnarowski also revealed that Philadelphia is just a week away from getting a clearer timeline on Embiid's eventual return, which could provide clarity and optimism for both the team and fans.
Embiid's absence has been a big deal for the 76ers, as the superstar center got injured on Jan. 30 during a matchup against the Golden State Warriors.
Since then, he has been out, missing a total of 12 games. During this period, Philadelphia has struggled, posting a 4-8 record, underscoring Embiid's importance to the team's success.
Embiid's presence on the court not only brings his prodigious talent as a scorer and defender, but also instills confidence and leadership in the Sixers. His return could be the boost the team needs to secure a solid playoff position and compete for the coveted NBA title.
