Jordan Poole, was moved to a bench role by Washington Wizards' interim head coach, Brian Keefe in a rather significant decision, especially regarding how much the franchise is paying to the player. The former 2022 NBA Champion with Golden State had started the first 52 games he played this season.
This change did not go unnoticed by Poole, who expressed his bitternes when questioned about it.
"If there's any common sense with the situation, they should know how I feel. But I'm just going to go out, do what I can to help the team, and move on," Poole commented.
The shooting guard added, "I mean, if this is a way to try to get me on the ball, I guess that's what we have to do."
Keefe's move could have several strategic implications for the Wizards. Poole, who has been a key player in the starting rotation, will now have the opportunity to contribute from the second unit. This could provide an additional boost to the Wizards bench and allow Poole to explore different aspects of his game.

Jordan Poole's career has been wild. Rookie season: Shot 33 FG% and 28 3P% 2nd season: Improved to 43 FG% and 35 3P% 3rd season: Shot 51/39/92% in the playoffs and won a championship 4th season: Punched by Draymond 5th season: Benched on a 9-46 team
