The
Golden State Warriors head coach
Steve Kerr has
criticised the arrangements his team had to face during their recent trip to Toronto.
The Warriors registered a thumping win over the Toronto
Raptors with a score of 120-105 at the Scotiabank Arena on Friday.
Kerr was quoted after the match when he stated that the
arrangements he witnessed for the match were ‘worst’ in the NBA and that he was
also proud of his team’s performance in tough circumstances.
"Last night was brutal,” he said. “That's the worst
travel circumstances I've ever been involved with in the NBA. I think we got in
bed at eight o'clock this morning. The guys slept during the day, woke up and
came to the game.
“So it was pretty rough. But I'm proud of the group for the
way they competed, like I said after that slow start -- which was
understandable -- we really locked in and did a good job. Last night was
brutal, that's the worst travel circumstances I've ever been involved with in
the NBA."
The victory was an important one for the Warriors which was
their sixth in the last seven matches. That result kept them in the ninth position
in the league table with just 32 wins and 27 defeats this season.
