Los Angeles Lakers star forward
LeBron James has been ruled
out of the match against the
Los Angeles Clippers.
The much-awaited contest is set to take place on Tuesday at
the Crypto.com arena. However, in a serious blow to the home side, their star
player James will not be taking part in the match because of an ankle injury.
The development will be a big headache for everyone involved
with the franchise as the 39-year-old is the second-best when it comes to
registering points for the Lakers.
In his absence, there will be added pressure on the likes of
Anthony Davis who is leading the charts for Lakers as he is registering 24.9
points per game to go with 12.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game.
James is having a decent season on the court for the Lakers
where he is averaging 24.8 points, 7.2 rebounds and 7.4 assists per game. In
the team’s previous outing, he registered 28 points against the Portland Trail
Blazers with five assists and five rebounds as well.
His best outing this season came in the match against the Oklahoma
City Thunder where he ended up registering 40 points to go with seven rebounds
and seven assists.
