Former
Golden State Warriors player Jordan Bell has stated Stephen
Curry’s humble personality is one of the reasons of his success on the court.
The 35-year-old is often descried as one of the best players
currently playing in the NBA and has been a key reason behind the Warriors’
success in the recent past.
Bell, who is now playing in the NBA G League for Indiana Mad
Ants, was recently quoted in a report where he revealed how Curry remains grounded
despite being one of the best players in the league.
"Steph don't know he Steph," he said. "He
don't know he's the best shooter, I'm not saying he doesn't know that, but he
doesn't carry himself like that. He's a people person. Even when I was there in
the rookie year... he came up and asked me how I was and my name and all that.
"That's who Steph is. He don't know he's Steph, he
thinks he's a regular person, like a regular dude that's just a respectful
man... he's a great dude."
Curry is having another fabulous season on the court where
he is averaging 26.7 points per game, best amongst all the Warriors players. To
go with that, he is averaging 4.2 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game.
In the previous outing
against the Atlanta Hawks, Curry ended up registering 26.7 points, four rebounds
and assists.
