The Dallas Mavericks did what they needed to do. At the trade deadline, they made some awesome moves to reinforce their roster, especially their frontcourt. The first games after that, everything went perfect, winning several on a row until the All-Star break, but then, all the doubts came back, and with that, they are back to the play-in positions, along with loaded and tough teams, like the Golden State Warriors, the Lakers and the Kings.
Luka Doncic, who has been named February's NBA Player of the month , is understandably disappointed with the performance of his team, which has lost its last three games and five of their last ten. This has caused them to fall several positions in a Western Conference that is very evenly matched.
