The
Golden State Warriors veteran power forward
Draymond Green has revealed the reason behind laughing with the
Denver Nuggets star centre
Nikola Jokic.
Both were seen laughing at the end of the match on Sunday at
the Chase Center in San Francisco, California after the Nuggets came out on top
with a score of 119-103.
Green was later quoted in a report where he revealed both
laughed when the 33-year-old went and asked Jokic whether he would be interested
in doing his podcast.
"What we were laughing at is I went up to him and said,
'Hey, can you do my podcast?',” said Green. "I don't know if any of you
saw the clip of Joker at All-Star with Andre Iguodala asking him about the
podcast, and Joker's running from him.
"So I was kind of making light of that, and [Jokić]
said, 'Oh my God, I'm a bad person. A really bad person.' That's what we were
laughing at. I thought it was hilarious. You've never seen Joker on a podcast
... If he did, it was probably about horses; it was not about the Denver
Nuggets or no basketball."
Jokic was the star performer for the winning team as he
ended up registering 32 points to go with 16 rebounds and 16 assists.
Green, on the other hand, made little contribution for the
Warriors as he registered just seven points to go with five rebounds and four assists.
