The NBA trade deadline is rapidly approaching, now just two weeks away, and there are quite a few players across the league who could be packing their bags and moving to new destinations.
Dejounte Murray, Bruce Brown, Bojan Bogdanovic, and Alec Burks are just some of the players being eyed by multiple teams.
Murray is perhaps the biggest name on the list and the Atlanta Hawks apparently know that. The latest reporting says the Hawks are demanding at least two first-round picks for Murray. However, they might change their tune if they can get a strong young player and first-round pick alongside him.
As for Bruce Brown, it is being reported that the Toronto Raptors might have a hard time getting all they want in exchange for him. They have initially asked for a first-round pick for Brown but his hefty contract might scare away a few possible suitors, forcing them to rethink their approach.
Bojan Bogdanovic and Alec Burks are the two biggest trade assets with the ailing Detroit Pistons. For more than a year, the Pistons have been steadfast about not moving Bogdanovic unless they got a huge haul in return for him. But they are now open to new proposals from other teams. Yet, there is still a lot of analysts and insiders who believe they will wait until the offseason before they commit to any plan to move Bogdanovic.
When it comes to Burks, they might sit on their hands until the summer with him as well, mostly because they think they could retain him. However, if they heard a great offer for either or both of these stars, they could be leaving Detroit behind.
The NBA trade deadline is February 8.
